On October 12, 2023, the 13th Fengxian Electric Tricycles Exhibition was grandly opened at the Fengxian International Convention and Exhibition Center!

In his speech, Mao Xiaoquan, Secretary of the Fengxian County Committee, extended a warm welcome on behalf of the county’s one million residents to the attending leaders, guests, and exhibitors. He also provided a detailed overview of the development of Fengxian’s electric vehicle industry.
Mao Xiaoquan highlighted that Fengxian, as the birthplace of China's electric tricycle industry, has undergone over 20 years of steady growth. The industry has evolved from its initial emergence to rapid expansion and eventual stabilization, forming a complete industrial ecosystem, progressing from individual enterprises to an industrial chain, and further to an industrial cluster. This transformation represents an innovation-driven journey from scratch, from weakness to strength, and from fragmentation to consolidation.
He emphasized that Fengxian is committed to its goal of becoming the most competitive and influential new energy vehicle industrial base in China. The county will actively attract more leading enterprises and steadfastly promote industrial upgradations and transformation, and focus on expanding into specialized and special-purpose vehicle sectors. Additionally, Fengxian will fully support electric vehicle enterprises in joining forces to expand into international markets, striving to establish a strong global presence.
In his speech, Wu Weidong, Deputy Mayor of Xuzhou City, emphasized that the new energy vehicle industry is a pillar industry of Fengxian. In recent years, the industry has accelerated upgrading and transformation, continuously expanding and strengthening its presence. Fengxian has already established the largest electric tricycle and key core components production and R&D base in China. Key components such as motors and controllers have achieved a domestic market share of over 95%, and the industrial cluster for new energy vehicles is rapidly taking shape, with vast development prospects.
Wu Weidong expressed his hope that Fengxian will take this exhibition as an opportunity to engage with participating enterprises with the highest standards, the best image, and the strongest support. He encouraged the county to negotiate and promote high-tech, high-impact projects, driving the electric vehicle industry toward mid-to-high-end development.
