On the afternoon of October 12 at 14:30, the 2023 Small New Energy Vehicles Development Conference officially kicked off at the Elegant Hall of the Mehao Lizi Hotel in Fengxian, with the theme "New Products Originating from Fengxian, Excellent Products from Fengxian." Industry experts and entrepreneurs focused on the development trends of small new energy vehicles and discussed various topics, including how lightweight three-wheeled motorcycle companies can collaborate for international expansion in the new era; the implications of new energy vehicle development for the development of small vehicles; the future direction of leisure three-wheeled vehicles; and trends in the development of small new energy vehicles. To jointly promote the high-quality development of the electric vehicle industry towards internationalization and intelligence, the conference analyzed hot topics and featured two main keynote speeches and three specialized presentations.
In the presentation titled "Proactively Breaking Through Inefficient Competition and Accelerating High-Quality Transformation," Zhang Lipeng, Deputy Director of the Tianjin Internal Combustion Engine Research Institute (Tianjin Motorcycle Technology Center), discussed the development characteristics of China's three-wheeled motorcycle industry in recent years, exploring the ways to break through and transform under the new circumstances of the industry. He proposed five key measures to proactively break through inefficient competition and accelerate high-quality transformation:

In the presentation titled "Small Vehicles, Big Potential," Mr. Zheng Peidong, Advisor of the Tianjin Bicycle and Electric Bicycle Industry Association, shared valuable insights on the expansion of the latest scope of small vehicles, the role of standard certification in promoting the development of small new energy vehicles, and how to leverage advantages such as intelligent manufacturing and smart upgrades to help the small new energy vehicle industry take off effectively. Mr. Zheng believes that the small vehicle market is significant, with considerable space for development. He emphasized that small vehicles hold immense potential, encapsulating the idea that small vehicles have a "big world" ahead of them.
Professor Liu Jishun, Dean of the Ningde New Energy Technology Research Institute at Fujian University of Technology, explored the application of key new energy vehicle technologies in the small electric vehicle sector. His presentation focused on three key aspects: key technologies for new energy electric vehicles, opportunities and considerations for the electrification of two types of small vehicles, and strategies for integrating industry, academia, and research to implement electrification innovations. Through these discussions, Professor Liu provided valuable insights into the future development of small electric vehicles and their technological advancements.
Professor Chen Zhihui from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics introduced the development history, current applications, design and optimization, and future trends of permanent magnet drive motors.
Huang Yuming, Co-Founder of Chuanghua Consulting Group, delivered a presentation titled "High-Quality Development of Small New Energy Vehicles."
